The quarter-century anniversary of a landmark civic event deserves a proper start. A couple days before Hoopfest 25 begins, Spokane will get quite the musical treat. On Thursday, June 26th, Cami Bradley will headline a free concert in Riverfront Park, with support from Cathedral Pearls and the Marshall McLean Band. All three of these artists have been in the Local Lounge, each multiple times and in various configurations. Cami made national TV with her achievements in America's Got Talent last year, but that's just the start of her musical career. The pre-Hoopfest concert, in which Cami will debut some new songs, will be her final Spokane performance of 2014...she must have something BIG on the horizon. We better find out what's been going on lately, so Matt Loi will call up Cami for a phone interview. This Sunday the 22nd at 10 pm on the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge, you'll also hear tracks from Cami Bradley's "Seas" album, a full-band live-in-the-Local-Lounge recording from her last visit here, as well as songs from Cathedral Pearls and the Marshall McLean Band.
