After starting on the acoustic/folksy side in 2012, Sea Giant made the unlikely transition into the electronic realm.  A collection of synthesizers, some new, some vintage, are manned by Conor and Kyler, who both sing.  Conor also plays some occasional guitar.  Tony recently joined on the drum kit, adding acoustic dynamics and visual variety to their live shows.  Their songwriting dwells on darker stories and influences, in contrast to the catchy tunes and danceable rhythms.  Sea Giant's brand of intense, melodramatic, '80s-inspired electro-pop is now making waves (pun intended) around Spokane.  With their new album "Our Dead Age" set for release on May 10th, and a performance at The Inlander's Volume 2014 music festival at the end of the month, Sea Giant will share some tracks and live duo performances this Sunday at 10pm in the 103.1 KCDA Local Lounge.
