Governor Jay Inslee is extending the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order for Washington state during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Thursday evening at a press conference Inslee extended the order a few more weeks until May 4th.
The governor is not adding any new rules to the order and urges our efforts to stay home will "pay off."
Inslee insists we have yet to see the brunt of COVID-19 pandemic in Washington and says more people will die if we stop our efforts now.
Gov. Inslee says "We will not accept unnecessary deaths in our state."
