Gonzaga men's basketball is opening its season with a must-see matchup.
CBS Sports reports the 'Zags will meet Kansas in Fort Myers, FL for a season-opening showdown on November 25th.
The teams finished a COVID-19 shortened campaign ranked first and second in the nation, respectively.
The news comes on the heels of ESPN pulling the plug on their season-opening tournament in Orlando on Monday.
GU and KU are joined by Auburn and soon-to-be announced fourth team for the tournament.
Gonzaga is also working on scheduling a handful of home games at the McCarthey Athletic Center.
