Does Mel B Want Katy Perry To Replace Posh On The Spice Girls Tour?

Say you'll be there, Posh.

Mel B continued her teasing of a possible Spice Girls World Tour on Friday's episode of The Late Late Show with James CordenHoweverthis time, Scary Spice gave fans a new update, and it was all about Victoria Beckham's (a.k.a Posh Spice) involvement.

James didn't hold back when addressing Mel about rumors of the girl group's long-awaited reunion. "I feel like you've been stringing us along for a long time [with] this Spice Girls reunion," he said, referencing the near half a dozen times Mel has teased a Spice Girls reunion in the past year. "Is it happening?" Without missing a beat, Mel quickly responded, "100 percent it's happening. We are going to be going on tour."

James then asked "which Spices would be a part of the tour," before asking by name if each Spice, from Baby to Sporty to Ginger to Scary, had signed on to be a part of the tour. However, when he got to Posh, Mel responded, "We'll see about that one. Those four are definitely going to be going on tour. [Posh] may join us for a few. She better do."

Olivia Munn, who was also a guest on the late-night talk show, then suggested that "celebrity guests" fill in for Posh, which Mel agreed, saying it's actually an idea she's suggested before. That's when James asked, "Who would be your number one [replacement] for Posh [on tour]?" Mel replied: "Katy Perry would be good."

Last month, the America's Got Talent host revealed she is gearing up to enter rehab to deal with her issues with alcohol and sex after being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.

“The past six months have been incredibly difficult for me. I’ve been working with a writer on my book, 'Brutally Honest,' and it has been unbelievably traumatic reliving an emotionally abusive relationship and confronting so many massive issues in my life from the death of my dad to my relationship with men," Mel told The Sun. "I am being very honest in my book about drinking to numb my pain but that is just a way a lot of people mask what is really going on. Sometimes it is too hard to cope with all the emotions I feel. But the problem has never been about sex or alcohol — it is underneath all that."

Mel added that she was diagnosed with PTSD on August 9 and has "made the decision to go into a proper therapy programme [in the UK] in the next few weeks."
