Ed Sheeran, Chance The Rapper & PnB Rock's 'Cross Me' Video Is CGI Heaven

Ed Sheeran dropped the video for "Cross Me Feat. Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock" on Friday (June 21) and it is a colorful, CGI masterpiece.

Sheeran originally released the single last month when he announced his upcoming album, No.6 Collaborations Project, which is out July 12. Now, he's dropped the music video and it is incredible.

In the video, Sheeran and his featured artists are transformed into CGI characters. But instead of "Cross Me" being solely CGI, viewers get an inside glimpse of the making of the video via motion capture. The video's dancer is dressed in black with reflective markers all over her body as her limbs moves with the beat. She's then transformed into the three performers during a series of trippy scenes.

In the opening CGI scene, Sheeran is surrounded by tons of gold bodies that fall down around him. In another, he dances with a body made out of a colorful array of balls that definitely look like Skittles, let's be real.

Once PnB Rock's verse hits, the dancer changes her style and you'll see the lyricist covered in phones. As for Chance, he gets turned into a video game character that accurately fits a part of his verse: "Pew! Kung Pow! Get your a** with a cross kick."

There's plenty more to see in the video so check it out above. Plus, you'll be in for a huge surprise with the twist at the end of the video.

Sheeran recently revealed all of the features who will be on No.6 Collaborations Project and it includes the likes of Camila Cabello and Cardi B, Bruno Mars, and more.
