The Great PNW clothing company sure knows how to make a splash. Monday they put up a billboard appearing to feature two bears mating right in downtown Spokane on Washington & 1st Ave.
When asked for comment the owner of the company, Joel Barbour, confirmed that it was no mistake and they simply thought it would be fun and funny.
Unfortunately the stunt only lasted a total of 8 hours before Lamar, the company that owns the billboard space, replaced the bears with an innocuous Great PNW logo.
However, by that time it had already made national headlines and even got a Twitter shoutout from William Shatner.
Two bears getting it on? 🤔 Shouldn’t the billboard read the Great PWN? 😏 https://t.co/XksFPXhVbT— William Shatner (@WilliamShatner) May 1, 2018
