Spokane can begin Phase 2 of reopening under new guidelines.
Governor Jay Inslee announced on Tuesday that large counties in Washington can move to the second phase of reopening the economy if they have had 10 cases or fewer per 100,000 people in that county for at least 14 days.
Spokane County is eligible for reopening under the guide lines. There are only 37 new COVID-19 cases reported since May 5. That's less than the 50 or more that could be allowed based on the county population.
