Gonzaga Loses Top Player To Pro's

Gonzaga men's basketball is going to have a big hole to fill when it returns to action.

It appears 'Zags forward, WCC Player of the Year, Filip Petrusev is jumping to the pro level.

Petrusev is joining his hometown professional team. He forgoes his final two seasons of eligibility in Spokane.

As a sophomore, he led GU with 17.5 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, helping guide the Zags to a WCC regular season and tournament title.

The coaching staff has confirmed the departure.
