A protest is being planned for Sunday in downtown Spokane to march in response to the shooting of a Black man by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The March For Jacob Blake is scheduled to take place at the Red Wagon in Riverfront Park on Sunday starting at 2 p.m..
Blake was shot by a Kenosha police officer who was responding to a reported domestic dispute. The shooting has left the 29-year-old paralyzed from the waist down, his family said.
Organizers are asking participants to wear masks and socially distance, otherwise there will also be a car procession.
