Fresh off his loss in the Washington governor's race, Loren Culp says he is no longer the police chief for the City of Republic. On Facebook Live, the former Republican candidate says the city council held a special meeting not long ago where they voted to defund the police department and eliminate his position. City Council agendas show members have been considering the move since as early as September. Culp had been running the city's police department on his own for the last few years, and took a leave of absence to campaign for office.
