Trip is still a little bit shy but he is warming up well and should be just fine in a few days. He looks a bit intimidating at first but he is actually a very loving and very affectionate young boy. It's just hard getting used to such an active and noisy place. He is more relaxed at night here when people have gone home and the shelter is quiet again. He's very active and athletic in his own home so be prepared for that when you adopt him. Might take him a few days or even weeks to really get comfortable but when he does, you'll know. He has been silent since he came here and his previous family said he was a pretty quiet cat. Sometimes it's just nice having someone else around to watch tv with or someone to snuggle with.
He loves catnip and small toys and he's very fun to watch tapping little toys around his room. When no one is watching of course.....
