The greatest music artists of all time "Revolution"-ized genres and continue to echo throughout the ages despite breaking up over 50 years ago.
The icons left an undeniable mark on the world of music and were fondly revered as "The Fab Four."
Known for hits like "A Hard Day's Night," "Yesterday," "Let It Be," "Here Comes The Sun," "Can't Buy Me Love," "Come Together," "Help!," "Twist and Shout," and "Hey Jude," to name only a few of their most timeless tracks, the best music artists of all time were formed in Liverpool and played a pivotal role in the rebellious counterculture movement of the '60s. A decade after their first member left the group (per History.com), another was tragically shot and killed outside his New York City apartment.
The rest of the band went on to release celebrated solo work, with one member forming a new group called "Wings" in the early '70s (per Britannica). This group went on to produce a string of hits like "Band on the Run," "Silly Love Songs," and "Live and Let Die." The greatest band of all time lost its second member in 2001, leaving two original members still standing.
The illustrious entertainers used AI to release a posthumous song last year, effortlessly merging generations of melodies, lyrics, and creativity in a way the world has never witnessed before.
According to a list compiled by The Top Tens, the absolute best music artists of all time are (drumroll please) The Beatles! Though, you don't need a list to remind you that Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr were the greatest of all time!
Other artists that made the list include Queen, Micheal Jackson, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd to round out the top five.
