Tara Guertin of Burlington, VT decided to let some visiting friends borrow her car for some sight seeing. However, they may have relied a little to heavily on the community-driven navigation app Waze.
Waze pairs your typical turn-by-turn navigation app with a social media like aspect that let's users report accidents, traffic jams, and police traps.
Well, unfortunately for Tara her friends using the Waze app followed the directions far to closely and drove her Jeep straight into an icy lake. Thankfully all three did escape safely while the car sank to the bottom. Her friends all claim it was very, dark and foggy, but for sure let's watch where the navigation app is actually taking us...
