Montana Unplugged

Spent the weekend in Montana hunting for the first time. Technically I wasn't hunting as much as I was traipsing around the woods with my dad and grandpa as I had no license or gun.

While we did see some deer they were either too small or on private land so none came home with us, but we did find some absolutely breathtaking views.

I also learned about larches. They are a species of trees, related to tamarack's here in Washington, that are needle trees that change color in the fall. The beautiful yellow dotting the evergreen hillsides is truly amazing to see.
