My son Kane, 5, had his first ever Opening Day of baseball this weekend. Kane has autism which can make it challenging to focus, especially during a patience testing game like baseball ;), but he pushed through and tried his hardest and we could not be more proud.
He is part of the Bambino Buddy Baseball League, an incredible program that helps kids with disabilities from ages 5 - 20 still enjoy the love of the game with help from a "buddy".
