Bachelor Nation, meet Emmanuel Acho! After longtime host Chris Harrison announced last month that he would be taking a temporary break from the franchise following his comments that "excused historical racism,” the franchise has announced Emmanuel will be filling in for Harrison to host Matt James' season 25's After the Final Rose special.

So, who is Emmanuel?

The former football pro is from Texas and grew up in Dallas. The son of Nigerian immigrants played football for the University of Texas and then in the NFL for the Cleveland Browns, the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants.

He also co-hosts a Fox Sports show called Speak for Yourself and has a popular YouTube series called Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man with the goal of conducting candid, educational discussions about race and racism in America, making him the perfect man for the job on the heels of Harrison's statement.

Emmanuel will chat with James as well as the season's final three women: Rachael Kirkconnell, Michelle Young and Bri Springs. The special episode will air in two weeks on Monday, March 15th, immediately after the season finale of The Bachelor.
