There is 1 person that will not stand for pitting Beyoncé and Taylor Swift against each other…and I co-sign!
They both had insanely huge years… and everyone is always pitting them against each other…or arguing who is more talented, etc.
And Blake Lively said it so perfectly with her caption from Beyoncé’s premiere in London:
“When I grew up, women were always pitted against one another. It took me until adulthood to see that the instinct for women to lift each other up to their highest potential is the norm… not the exception. It's our job to show younger generations the power in aligning rather than dividing. There’s space for us all.”
As women… we tend to not embrace each other because we are made to fear that we need to protect our space or feel threatened.
And that’s just so wrong.
