Coronavirus in Spokane: Closures, Cancellations Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

As the Coronavirus (also known as COVID-19) continues to spread across the United States, many Spokane residents are experiencing a new reality as many sporting events/concerts have been postponed and schools have closed.

According to the Spokane County Emergency Management, there are 311 cases of COVID-19 with 18 deaths in Spokane County as of Wednesday, April 22.

Statewide, there are nearly 12,282 confirmed cases and 682 reported deaths.

At the writing of this article, more than 840,625 cases have been confirmed so far in the United States, with the death toll in the U.S. climbing to 46,996.
